God existed before all of creation.
He is described as the Omniscient, Omnipotent God, the Alpha and Omega, Wonderful Councilor, Savior, Good Shepherd, Son of God, Chief Cornerstone, King of Kings, Lamb of God, Holy Spirit, Prince of Peace, Lord of Lords, Teacher, Jesus, Redeemer, Messiah, Christ, Servant, Master, the Great I Am, and He is the Word.
He is truth, all that is good, all that is pure, all that is holy.
He knows what we need before we ask.
His love for us is unconditional.
His greatest commandment is to Love Him back with all of our heart, mind, soul and strength... and His second commandment is to Love our neighbor as ourselves.
Existing before time, He IS Love.
His Nature IS Holiness and Purity, which IS the essence of eternity.
How can we wrap our minds around the complete nature of God?
The simple fact is, we can’t.
However, our Faith in His saving Grace, gives us Hope as we attempt to comprehend His awesome Love.
** "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son. This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God." John 3:16-20
